Finding the Right Hair Color for Your Skin Tone

If you would like to change the color of your hair and you don’t know what type of product you need in order to do that, you should listen to these helpful pieces of advice.

How can you find out what kind of skin tone do you have?

It’s a very simple test that you need to do in order to figure it out what kind of skin tone you have. What are the options? You may have either cool skin tone or warm skin tone. For your test you will need some silver and some gold jewelry. Try them on each one at a time and see which looks the best on you. If the golf jewelry compliments your beauty it means you have a warm skin tone. If silver jewelry looks better on you, then you have a cool skin tone.

Any color you may choose has either cool shades or warm shades

You are very lucky to have light skin. Basically you can wear any color you want as long as it is as warm or as cool as your skin tone. Every color has cool shades and warm shades. For example brown – you can choose some light and lustreless tones of brown such as a gray-brown in order to fit your cool tone or you can choose a reddish brown that will fit to your warm skin tone.

Very light skin tone

Dying your hair in a very dark color may compliment your beauty and your eyes. If the color of your face is very pale it may not be a good idea to choose a the black color for your hair since it may make you look even more paler.

Light skin tone

If you have a light skin tone you would look the best if you dyed your hair in a blond color that will fit with your skin undertone. Choose some gray shades if you have a cool skin tone and dye your hair in a shiny yellow blond color if you have warm skin tone.

Dark skin tone

If you have dark skin tone, unless you have a perfect complexion without any zits, it would be the best for you to choose some darker hair colors. Any lighter colors may highlight all your imperfections and you don’t want that! You may need to use foundation every day after you dye your hair in a lighter color than your natural color in order to mask all the things that before having dyed your hair you hadn’t even noticed they were there in the first place!
